FORM AND FUNCTION

This project allows us to obtain a deeper understanding of form and function in architecture. 

The objective of this project was to design a bridge and be able to transform it into a movable bridge. A workable bridge is required that allows a boat to pass through a 30' x 40' opening. With the use of movable household items and more specifically the complex movement involved in the functionality of these items we are able to alter and combine the two and create our final design.
